わたしの英作文の宿題を初公開しまっせ。

サードプレイス英会話の皆さんと先日モンドさんに行ったとき、「感想を英作文で述べよ」という宿題が実は出ていました。


「よく書けてるよ〜」とYumi先生に褒められたので、調子に乗ってアップします! 先生に監修していただきましたが、基本的にわたしが書いた文章です。


こんなに自分の思ったことを書けるようになって、素直に嬉しいです。3年前には1行書くのも無理でしたからね。なせばなる。これからもがんばる。

Last Monday, we went to Mondo, my most favourite Italian restaurant.


Mr. Miyaki is the owner and a top-ranking chef in Japan, who was recognized as the best Italian chef in Japan by an authoritative gourmet book.


Mr. Tamura is the sommelier and a business partner of the restaurant. His unique customer service is increasing the number of passionate fans. Not everybody is compatible with him, however, I believe that is also his charm.


The main dish of the day was Yamagata beef ramp charcoal grilled from the Ushiyama butcher shop and green asparagus from the Jet farm.


Ushiyama butcher shop is located in Numazu City, Shizuoka Prefecture. They carefully selected the highest quality meat from all over the country and only available for sale after dry-aging it.


Jet Farm is an asparagus field in Assabu-Chou in  Hokkaido, which is near Hakodate.


It is a region of extreme difference temperature, rich in delicious water, and the best environment for asparagus cultivation.


These best ingredients were exclusively prepared for us.


Usually, at this restaurant, it is only Tuesday that they grill the chunk of meat. Charcoal-grilled special dry-aged beef chunk is their very special expression.


We enjoyed the beautiful gradation from the well-grilled on the outside to the rarity of the center, which cannot be expressed without any size, both visually and tastefully.


The taste was really great. It was the most delicious meat I've ever eaten.

I feel so happy to be alive!


Every time I eat a bit of meat, I could not stop shouting "Delicious!"


Asparagus of garnish is also excellent. This is definitely Hokkaido local quality. The taste is rich and juicy and the texture is vivid.


Fresh and high-quality asparagus is delicious when eaten raw. Only the upper side was grilled this time, and the lower side was raw. This is my favourite way of eating.


Just recently, Mondo's staff visited Hokkaido and seemed to meet good producers. We can expect more and more of their dishes.
